It is with great sadness that the family of Beverly Ann (Boak) Cain, age 82, of St. Amant, Louisiana, announces her passing peacefully on November 27, 2025, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was born on July 17, 1943, to Hoyt F. Boak and Annie H. Boak.
Beverly was married to her husband, Donald Yancy Cain, for 63 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hoyt and Annie Boak, her sister Peggy Boak and her brother Billy Boak.
She is survived by her husband Donald; her children, Donald Yancy Cain, Jr., Stanford Edwin Cain (Tammy Lambert Cain), and Elizabeth Ann Cain Thacker; and her beloved grandchildren, Auburn Marie Cain (Taylor Dietz Cain), Erin Elizabeth Cain, Treavor Jason Thacker (Chloe Snider-Miller Thacker), Brenson Cain Thacker, and Xander Michael Thacker. Beverly was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Ayden Cain Campbell and Camden Edward Campbell.
Beverly’s life was rich with creativity and care. She enjoyed crocheting, crafting, and painting, especially flowers and nature scenes. She was an avid gardener whose green thumb brought beauty to her home, and she was a wonderful cook whose meals nourished both body and soul. Above all, Beverly was a loving mother, grandmother, and wife. Her silly humor and infectious laughter brightened every room she entered, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Beverly will be laid to rest at 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, with a graveside service at Hope Haven Garden of Memory (604 E. Hwy 30, Gonzales, Louisiana 70737).
We would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Carpenter House and the home hospice nurses, especially Mrs. Susan Hill for her kindness and consideration in taking such great care of Beverly.
