Betty Sanchez Walker, age 84, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 11:50 a.m. at North Point Healthcare Center, in Baton Rouge, LA. A resident and native of Gonzales, LA. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, LA on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until service at 11:00 a.m. Burial in Ficklin Cemetery. Survived by her daughter, Donna Walker Osborne and husband, James; two sons, Jeffery J. Walker and wife, Kathleen and Thomas M. Walker and wife, Katherine; sister, Margie Hidalgo; four grandchildren, Angela Marse and husband, Darren, Clint Walker and wife, Cassie, Brandi Scivicque and husband, Nathan, and Jessie Allen and wife, Laurel; and seven great grandchildren, (twins) Natalie and Caroline Marse, Jesslyn Allen, Lathan and Blaire Scivicque, and Rhylee and Jase Walker. Preceded in death by her husband, George H. Walker Jr.; parents, Alonzo and Ora Sanchez; grandson, Jeb Allen; sisters, Violet Jackson and JoAnna Sanchez; and a brother, Harold Sanchez.
