Betty Jo Parent Chapman passed away Friday, October 10, 2025, at home surrounded by family at the age of 82. She was a resident of Gonzales, LA.
Betty is survived by her children, Chuck Lebeau (Brigitte), Rhonda Rivere and Angela Gill (Earl).
Betty had 9 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Children.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jerry Paul Parent and Helen Mae Lambert Schexnayder, Her son Carbet F Gautreau Jr., Son in Law Vincent Rivere Sr., 4 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Ascension Funeral Home in Gonzales, LA, on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 9:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 in the funeral home chapel. Graveside services will follow immediately at Hope Haven Cemetery on Highway 30 in Gonzales.
