Beryle Ann Haley

Beryle Ann Haley, a native of Baton Rouge and longtime resident of the area, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at the age of 85. Beryle was retired from a career in banking and was a devoted member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Prairieville. Above all, she cherished her family and the many years and memories they shared together. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Richard Haley; her two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Pat Sigur of Galvez and Karla and Rafe Mayers of Dutchtown; and her seven grandchildren, Brittany Dooley, Chase Mayers, Jared Sigur, Amber Mayers, Jerami Sigur, Taylor Mayers, and Ginger Mayers. Beryle was also blessed with sixteen great-grandchildren, with two more on the way, a beautiful legacy of the family she loved so dearly. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Keith Richard Haley, as well as her mother and father. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at Ascension Funeral Home on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Prairieville Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Pat Sigur, Rafe Mayers, Joey Dooley, Taylor Mayers, Levi Dooley, and Josiah Dooley. Beryle will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Her memory will live on through the generations of family she leaves behind.
