Bernard Gautreau

Bernard Gautreau, passed away on April 2, 2025, at his residence in Gonzales at the age of 89. He was born on May 14, 1935. He was one of ten siblings. He served in the National Guard.
Mr. Bernard is survived by his wife, Betty Villar Gautreau; daughters, Tammy Cuvillier and Cindy Desjardins; son, Brent Gautreau; 4 grandchildren, Brandon Prettelt, Maegan DeLaune, Justin Lanoux, and Kinsey Gautreau; and 6 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Agnes Babin Gautreau; father, Alcide Gautreau; and 9 siblings.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 9th, 2025, at St. Mark Catholic Church in Gonzales, from 10:30 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow at Lake Cemetery in St. Amant.
