Barbara Reeves

Barbara "Chris" Reeves, age 69, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at her home. A resident of Burnside, LA and native of Gabsland, LA. She was a retired Special Ed. teacher at St. John the Baptist Parish School System. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, LA, on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. until chapel service at 11:30 a.m. conducted by Deacon Brent Duplessis. Interment at Hope Haven Garden of Memory, Gonzales, LA. Survived by her husband, Ken Reeves; two daughters, Lindy Reeves and Kristy Allen and husband, Ryan; son, Christopher Reeves and wife, Kaci; three grandchildren, Abigail Reeves (9), Austin Reeves (4), and Lee Allen (6); and her pet dog, Max.
