Annie "Dinah" Robert, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by family and dear friends, in Gonzales, LA, on Monday, June 13, 2016. She was 99 years old, born in Tunica, LA on November 15, 1916. Visiting at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church, on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Father Henry Gautreau, co-celebrated by Father Kurt Young and her great-great grandson, Deacon Jared Rodrigue. Entombment in the family tomb at Hope Haven Garden of Memory. Survived by her two daughters, Joe Anne Cox and husband, G. L. and Fay Babin and husband, Ralph; two sons, Reggie Robert and wife, Rosalind and Terry Robert and wife, Brenda; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Joseph N. Robert; daughter, Frances Sheets; beloved granddaughter, Daria Babin; a niece, Edna Calzada, who they raised and remained very devoted to her; eight sisters; and two brothers. She was a member of St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church, 1022 N.
