Anna Blouin

Anna Mae Blouin, age 90, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2017, at 11:35 a.m., at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Gonzales, LA. A resident of Gonzales, LA and native of Ascension Parish. Visiting at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church, on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Rev. Eric V. Gyan. Burial at Hope Haven Garden of Memory, Gonzales, LA. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Catherine B. and Wickliff J. Mayers; two grandchildren, Dwayne E. Mayers and wife, Martha, and Tate P. Mayers and wife, Angela; and three great grandchildren, Cole Mayers, Braylee Mayers, and Gage Mayers. Preceded in death by her husband, Dudley J. Blouin; parents, Forrest and Madelaine Braud; three sisters, Una "Tiny" Braud Bercegeay, Rita Braud Weurfel, and Myrtle Braud Arceneaux; and a brother, Murphy A. Braud. Pallbearers are Dwayne Mayers, Tate Mayers, Cole Mayers, Tony Arceneaux, Al Tallion, and Kent Braud. She was a member of St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church.
