Angele Babin

A homemaker, she died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011, at her home in Gonzales. She was 93 and a native of Duplessis. Visiting at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church, Gonzales, on Friday, Jan. 21, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Gary Belsome. Survived by a daughter, Darlene Babin son, Hugh Babin soninlaw, Ferrel Braud six granddaughters, Kay Braud, Paige Jones, Alicia Lambert, Jade Allen, India Binner and Amber Guitrau eight greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews whom she held dear to her heart. Preceded in death by her husband, Chester Babin daughter, Claudette Braud parents, two sisters and six brothers. Pallbearers will be Kurt Allen, Jeremy Binner, Joe Mire, Nathan Guitrau, Michael Featherston and Adam Featherston. Honorary pallbearer is C.J. Donaldson Jr. She enjoyed playing cards and the French Club. Arrangements by Ascension Funeral Home, Gonzales.
