Andrew Schexnaydre

Andrew Bertin "Andy" Schexnaydre, age 45, passed away at his home. A resident of Broussard, LA and native of Gonzales, LA. He worked for Petroleum Helicopters Inc. (PHI) He was a graduate and salutatorian of the East Ascension High School Class of 1989. Andy also attended Tulane University. Visiting at St. Mark Catholic Church, 42021 Hwy. 621, Gonzales, LA on Friday, August 26, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until Mass of the Resurrection at 10:30 a.m. conducted by Rev. Rubin Reynolds. Survived by his parents, Bert "Putty" and Cynthia "Cindy" Schexnaydre; a sister, Karen Schexnaydre Juncker and husband, Drew; a niece, Emily Drew Juncker (godchild); and godchild, Stephen Holland. Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mitt and Emily Laughlin; and paternal grandparents, Bertin and Ruth Schexnaydre. Honorary pallbearers are Stewart Holland, Thomas Holland, Hunter Wiggins, Jim Pollard, Blake Vincik, and Troy Lambert. Ascension Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
