Allen B Cooper

Allen B. Cooper passed away at his residence in Gonzales on July 1, 2026, at the age of 88. He was born on September 3, 1937, in Franklin County, VA.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Sue Bradley; son, Philip Coppins; stepsons, Stephen Guitreau, William E. Bradley, Randy L. Bradley, and Michael S. Bradley; and sister, Bobbie Mayes.

Allen is preceded in death by his former wife, Nelda Cooper; parents, Mildred and Benjamin Franklin Cooper; daughter, Tyra Cooper, sons, Michael Cooper and Tommy Cooper; and stepsons, Craig Guitreau and Phil Guitreau.

Visitation will be held at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 7348 Main St., Sorrento, LA 70778, Friday, July 10, 2026, from 10:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in the church. Burial will follow at Hope Haven Garden of Memory in Gonzales.
