He was born April 9, 1936, in Nebraska City, Neb., and died Tuesday, June 19, 2012. He was a resident of St. James Place, Baton Rouge, La., for the past six years and a retired sugarcane farmer from St. James Parish. Preceded in death by his father, Raymond Stacy Allee, of Missouri, and his mother, Ruth Elva Ellen Mott, of Farragut, Iowa. Also preceded in death by his wife of 51 years and two months to Elaine Caire Allee, of St. James, La. Survived by three daughters, Mary Lee Allen, Gardendale, AL, Elizabeth Allee, Baton Rouge, Julie Allee Dardeau and husband Keith Dardeau, St. Amant a son, Stacy Guy Allee and wife Wendi Geter, St. Amant 14 grandchildren, Megan Allen Mayhew Zeb Mayhew III, Nicholas Allen, Jacob Allen, Ashleigh Niedbalski, Ryan Niedbalski, Madison Johnston, Michelle Aucoin, Christopher Aucoin, Savannah Dardeau, Stephanie Allee, Jeremiah Allee, Sarah Allee, Stacey Allee and Elijah Allee three stepgrandchildren, Amanda Templet, Cody Dardeau and Devin Dardeau and a stepgrandchild, Zeb Mayhew IV. From his scout training where he became an Eagle scout, he was taught to leave a campground cleaner than you found it. He became involved in numerous conservation organizations, including the following: Lower Delta Soil and Water Conservation, supervisor for 35 years Louisiana State Soil and Water Committee, Chairman 10 years and member 12 years National Association of Conservation Districts, Southwest Regional Board of Directors member, and Executive Committe member West St. James Farm Bureau, Board of Directors 42 years, former President. Other organizations include: Knights of Columbus, Vacherie Lions Club, former President Donaldsonville Elks St. James Scoutmaster. His latest passion was playing contract bridge where he made many friends at the Baton Rouge Bridge Club. He was a member and former chairman of the St. James Catholic Church. His belief in God is absolute. He learned and believed that he had no control over his life when he was blessed by a heart transplant in November 1997 and kidney transplant in August 2005 which enabled him to enjoy several more of his grandchildren and make many more friends. He live his early life in Nebraska City, Nebraska, and graduated from Bremerton High School in Bremerton, Washington, in 1953. He served in the US Army from 19551958. He graduated from Tulane University School of Business in 1961 and also had post graduate work at both Tulane and LSU. Visitation will be held at Ascension Catholic Church in Donaldsonville on Friday, June 22, 2012, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00PM.
