Aline Boudreaux

Aline Lambert Boudreaux "Mimi", age 94, passed away at her home on the morning of September 27th, 2018. Loved by all who knew her, she was a beautiful strong woman who was gentle and kind but fierce when needed. A vibrant woman who loved life, her family was her foundation and at the center of everything she did. She and her husband, Marcus Boudreaux, of 67 years lived a simple yet fulfilling life. Her deep love of country was evident in her wartime efforts as a riveter and her many VA activities throughout the years. She worked hard at making a comfortable home for her husband and children while also working fulltime herself. She loved to cook, she loved to dance, she loved to travel, and as an accomplished seamstress, she loved to sew. Her radiance touched the lives of many and she will be deeply missed. Visiting on Sunday, September 30, 2018, at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, LA from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Visiting on Monday, at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church, 1022 N. Burnside Ave., Gonzales, LA from 9:00 a.m. until Funeral Liturgy without a Mass at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Deacon Jodi Moscona. Burial at Hope Haven Garden of Memory, Gonzales, LA. She is survived by her son, Irvin Boudreaux; her daughter, Lynn Burgett and husband, Sam; her grandchildren, Jeanne Boudreaux, Jerry Redden Jr, Jenee Wilkinson and husband, Tim, Marcus Boudreaux II, Harold Jason Burgett and wife, Tisha, Cory Burgett, Toby Burgett and wife, Amanda, and Casey Burgett; her great-grandchildren, Joseph Saia, Jonathan Saia and wife, Jayne Claire, Callie Joy Boudreaux, Catherine Redden, Victoria Redden, Christian Redden, Stephen Redden, Lexie Redden, TJ Wilkinson and wife, Haley, Colton Wilkinson and wife, Teana, Adam Wilkinson, Joshua Ratner, Emily Wilkinson, Cameron Wilkinson, Ben Wilkinson, Samantha Boudreaux, Morgan Bicknell, Taylor Bicknell, Aiden Burgett, Owen Burgett, Ella Burgett, Egan Burgett, and Emil Burgett; and great-great-grandchild Kylah Wilkinson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus Boudreaux; parents, Damien Luke and Rosa Lambert; siblings, Sullivan Lambert, Raymond Lambert, Hermine Boudreaux, Earline LeBourgeois, and Eva Mae Vicknair; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Boudreaux; and granddaughters, Dorian Redden and Danielle Boudreaux. Wishing a heartfelt thank you to Elaine Youngblood for the superb and loving care she has given to Ms. Boudreaux through these past few years.
