alignleftA resident of Gonzales, she died on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at Gonzales Health Care Center. She was 90. Visitation will be held at Faithful United Methodist Church, Hwy 431 in St. Amant, on Friday, November 14, 2008 beginning at 10am. Pastor Kim Hammett will conduct funeral services at 1pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She is survived by her son, Lacy P. Michael of Gonzales, sister, Elvie Aydell of Gonzales, four grandsons; Stacy J. Michael of Walker, Larry P. Michael of Zachary, Barry J. Michael of Gonzales and Rusty L. Michael of Baton Rouge, granddaughter, Jena Michael of Zachary, eight great-grandchildren and her best friend and sister-in-law; Janet Michael of Gonzales. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alyfonse and Armita Aydell, her husband, Carl W. Michael, four brothers and two sisters. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
