Bourgeois, Addie Duplessis, retired from Gillis W. Long Hansens Disease Center with 35 years of service. A resident of St. Amant and a native of St. Gabriel died at 1150am Friday July 16, 2010 at her home. She was 85 years old. Visitation At Holy Rosary Catholic Church Monday July 19 after 8:30am until a mass of christian burial at 10:30Am. Intombment at Holy Rosary Mausoleum. She is survived by her husband of 50 years Leonce J. Bourgeois. Step daughter Darlene Lambert. Step son in law Leroy J. Lambert. Two step granddaughters and their husbands Tammy and Stan Cain, Tanya and Scotty Labauve. A step grandson Lee Lambert Jr. Five Step great grandchildren Auburn and Erin Cain, Karli, Trey and Kendall Labauve. Two sisters in law Dot Duplessis and Ann Carbo. Numerous neices and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Elodie Young Duplessis, brother Layton J. Duplessis, Sisters Myrtle Laiche, Mirza Gautreau. Pallbearers will be Stan Cain, Richard Duplessis, Chris Garza, Dale, Darryl and Dennis Carbo. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tyler Garza, Austin and Seth Carbo, Trey Labauve.
