I served in the Army.

William T. Lowrey Sr., age 89, passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018. A resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Washington, La., he was a former employee of Copolymer for 15 years. He was then the owner and president of Lowrey Engineering & Construction Company. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. He was president of the Bayou Jack Hunting Club in St. Landry Parish. He enjoyed spending time at his camp in Grand Isle, La. Visiting at Maranatha Fellowship, 1433 Sharp Lane, Baton Rouge, on Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 9:30 am until service at 10:30 am, conducted by Pastor Jacob Douglas and Pastor Larry Richard. Burial at St. Peter's Catholic Church Cemetery in Morrow, La at 2:30 pm. He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 67 years, Florence Lowrey; daughter, Diane Lowrey; three sons, William T. Lowrey Jr. (Jean), Robert C. Lowrey (Deborah), and Timothy D. Lowrey; seven grandchildren, Justin, Margaret, Jessica (Kristin Dehnert), Daniel (Nina), Lauren Lewis (Blake), Rebecca, and Emily James (Jonathan); and five great grandchildren, J. R. and Emerson James, Samantha and Landon Lewis, and Lila Lowrey. Preceded in death by his parents, Ervin and Evelina Lowrey; sister, Geraldine Grisette; and brother, Ervin Lowrey Jr. Please visit the online guestbook.
