I worked with Marci regularly the last year and a half. I was able to get to know her more personally through Instagram. She and I would message each other after work. She would send me pics of her dogs because my bf is allergic and we can’t have one. She loved her dogs. When she became my friend work was a brighter place to be. Hugs and prayers to her family.

My husband had the good fortune to work with Marci and what I remember most was that enormous smile each time I saw her. I'm terribly sorry for your loss. It has been a dark week for those who knew and loved her in New Orleans.

I will never forget meeting you and all the fun times we had. Visiting Ashley at the Baskin Robbins near the Darkroom. Ding dong ditching Kacie. The most pivotal being that I brought you to Aster for the first time and the rest is history... I'm in such a state of disbelief. The idea of you feeling alone breaks my heart bc you were SUCH a giver and always put a smile on the faces of the people around you. I'd give anything to have taken the time to catch up with you each time you passed my mind and told myself I would. Hindsight is always 20/20. You are so beautiful and so loved. Fly high Marci doll.

Marcy brought an enormous amount of love and light into this world and although the light may be extinguished the love absolutely remains. The love we received from her and the enormous amount we have for her. She would want us to all hold on to that and I most definitely will for the rest of my life.

My prayers are with your family, there is nothing a person could say to make anything better, but we serve a God that can and will heal the hearts of those left behind in tragedy. I pray that somehow in the midst of loss that God comforts and lifts you all up.
