A native of Opelousas and resident of Gonzales, he died on Monday, July 5, 2010 at his home. He was 58. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 from 5pm until 9pm at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 West New River St., Gonzales. Visitation will resume on Thursday at 9am. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel at 11am on Thursday, July 8, 2010. Burial will follow in Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in St. Amant. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Janice R. Guillory, daughter, Cassie Guillory Dupuy and husband Lance, two sons and daughters-in-law; Clifton Guillory and wife Kristian and Toby Guillory and wife Kristina, one sister, Lillian Quebedeaux, two brothers, Joseph Faul and Bryant Faul and five grandchildren; Destani, Tyler and Kyndal Guillory, Kelsey Dupuy and Austin Mire. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton Guillory and Hazel Faul, a granddaughter, Hayli “Hayli Bear” Guillory and sister Wilma Faul.
