A resident of Gonzales, LA, She died on Monday, May 31, 2010. She was 88. Visitation will be at Ascension Funeral Home from 12 pm until service at 2pm, Thursday, June 3, 2010. Interment will follow at Lusk Cemetery. She is survived by 2 sons, Don Binns of Fort Myers, Fl. and Gary Binns and wife Susan, 2 grandchildren, Christi Binns of Baton Rouge, La. and Matt Binns, 2 sisters-in-law, Corrine Mateer and Pat Mateer; She was preceded in death by her husband Robert “Bob” Binns; her father Robert S. Mateer, her mother Nellie Mateer Ritchie, 2 infant sons, Robert F. Binns Jr. and George S. Binns, 4 brothers, Robert, Emmett, Herbert and Roger Mateer, 1 sister Ruby Jukes.
