We mourn him in leaving, God rejoices his arrival. A resident of Sorrento, LA, he died on Monday, May 24, 2010. He was 78. Visitation will be at Ascension Funeral Home from 5pm-9pm, Wednesday, June 2, 2010 and will resume Thursday, June 3, 2010 at 8:30 am until service at 10:30 am at St. Anne Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery. He is survived by his Loving wife of 59 ½ years, Margie Fontenot LeBlanc; 3 Daughters, Della Donaldson, Wanda Bourgeois and husband Dwayne Sr. and Gay Dencausse and husband Randy; Sister, Nettie Melancon; Brother, Nolan LeBlanc and wife Martha; 7 Grandchildren, Meranda, Sidney Jr, and Donja Donaldson, Dwayne Jr. and Delanie Bourgeois and Chelsea and Kaylee Dencausse; 4 Great grandchildren; He was preceded in death by his parents, Noel and Blanche LeBlanc; infant brother Stanley LeBlanc; 3 great grandsons; 1 brother-in-law, Charlie Melancon; and Sister-in-Law, Myrtle LeBlanc. He loved his family and friends, but his greatest passion was his beagles and hunting and just being in the woods, cooking with family and friends. Honore had an exhilarating and a zest for life that touched all who knew him.
