A resident of Prairieville, he died early Saturday, February 27, 2010 from injuries he sustained as a passenger in a car accident. He was 24. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Hwy 30 in Gonzales beginning at 9am with funeral services at 12 noon. A luncheon and fellowship will follow until 3pm. He is survived by his mother and step father, Vicki Bernard Allison and Roy and his father, David Barnett, maternal grandmother, Elsie Schmill and paternal grandmother, Millie Barnett, his sister and brother-in-law, Katie Barnett Moore and Derek and his nephew Abram Moore. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Willie Joseph Bernard and paternal grandfather, Jerald Douglas Barnett. Brad was an Eagle Scout and very involved in all outdoor activities. He loved to hunt and fish. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Boy Scouts of America or a wildlife preservation charity of your choice.
