A resident of Gonzales, she died early Sunday, February 21, 2010.She was 66 and retired from Campus Federal Credit Union. Visitation will be held at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 beginning at 11:30 am. Rev. Bob Konopa will celebrate a mass of Christian burial at 12:30pm with cremation to follow.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, John Ferrel Sheets, mother, Annie Robert, four daughters and sons-in-law; Kari and Mickey Bercegeay, Sandi and Bill Clark, Robin and Russell Bourque and Anne-Marie and Ralland Boone, Jr. , her son and daughter-in-law, Damian and Shawnna Sheets, her “son at heart”, Scott Shaddinger, two sisters and brothers-in-law; Fay and Ralph Babin and JoeAnne and G.L. Cox, two brothers and sisters-in-law; Joseph ‘Reggie” and Rosalind Robert and Terry and Brenda Robert, fifteen grandchildren; Chris and Blake Hill, Ashtyn and Dakota Bercegeay, Jordan and Kace Shaddinger, Ashley Clark, Dwayne and Ryan Bourque, Garrett and Taylor Thompson, James, Ashton and Hunter Boone and Briton Sheets and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph N. “Jo Jo” Robert and niece Daria Babin.
