A resident of Baton Rouge, and native of Sorrento, he died early Friday, February 5, 2010 at Ochsner Medical Center. He was 57 and retired from Union Pacific Rail Road with over 20 years of service. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 8, 2010 from 8am until 10am at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 West New River Street, Gonzales. Religious services will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10am. Burial will follow in Whitehall Cemetery in Maurepas. He is survived by his mother, Mary Berthelot Trabeau and one niece and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his father, Woodrow Trabeau and two brothers, Sherwood Guitreau and Gerald Guitreau. Pallbearers will be; Bert Berthelot, Blake Melancon, Paul Bordelon, Ferrell Trabeau, Mark Andrepoint and James Gilly Berthelot. www.ascensionfuneral.com
