I served in the Navy.

Jack O. Foster, age 80, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017 at the South Louisiana War Veterans Home in Reserve, LA, at 5:40 a.m. A resident of Gonzales, LA and native of Campti, LA. He was a United States Navy veteran. He retired from Ohmstead Industrial Services and the Boilermakers Local Union. He loved blue grass music. Graveside service with military honors on Friday, August 11, 2017, at Louisiana National Cemetery,303 W. Mt. Pleasant Zachary Rd., Zachary, LA, at 2:30 p.m. He is survived by his daughter, Jackie A. Liles and husband, Dale; son, John W. Foster; sister, Shirley F. Heath; two brothers, Billy Gene “Bull” Foster, and Jessie J. “Shrimp” Foster; three grandchildren, Crystal Reeder and husband, Jeremy, Dakota Liles, and Savannah Liles; and a great grandchild, Tucker Owen Reeder. Preceded in death by his parents John Wesley and Willie Harris Foster; and four brothers, Richard David Foster, Edwin Wayne Foster, Ray Foster, and John Delton Foster.
