George was one of Jackís roommates in Lafayette, LA, way back in the late Ď60s. Although their lives went in different directions, George contacted Jack from time to time through the years with a sporadic phone call from wherever he was at the time -- Scotland, Indonesia, New Jersey. Last year we located him in Prairieville after not hearing from him in a while. We visited him in Prairieville and rekindled old friendships. So happy we were able to reconnect after many years. Will miss the phone visits. We send prayers and condolences to the family.

George was a great person to work with and I loved his quick wit, his stories and benefited greatly from his knowledge. His "occasional" tall tales were a treasure. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Condolences to his friends and family.
